From the http to the https, www. Or non-www site version, Google recommends that users verify all sites to ensure the most comprehensive views in Google Search Console. With the announcement of domain properties in Search Console, users can now verify and see data from Google Search for the entire domain. These domain properties show all data URLs under the domain name, including protocols, subdomains, paths, and more. You will get the whole view of the website across the Search Console, further reducing the necessity of combining data manually. The Search Console will come in handy as it aids users in being able to view site data and determine how Google Search views it.
For those that already have set up DNS verification, Search Console automatically creates new domain properties for the next few upcoming weeks, with data released over all reports. Moving forward, it is recommended to use domain properties whenever possible.
The new property will cover all protocols (e.g. http & https), subdomains, and paths.
